The 2010  Celebrity Chef OC event has been scheduled for Saturday, June 12th at the beautiful Westin South Coast Plaza Hotel in Costa Mesa.
Celebrity Chef OC will feature notable Orange County residents in a cooking competition. Celebrity Chefs that participated in the inaugural event last year included: Richard Chambers, CEO at CalOptima; Lou Correa, California State Senator; Janet Nguyen, Orange County Board of Supervisors; Reid Priddy, USA Olympic Volleyball Team Member and Loretta Sanchez, U.S. Congresswoman.

Each chef will be paired with a local professional chef and will have one hour to improvise and cook an appetizer and an entrée using a secret theme ingredient that is revealed at the beginning of the event. A distinguished panel of judges will determine the winners based on taste, presentation and originality. Guests will be treated to a great dinner featuring the secret ingredient, and a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind treasures.

Community SeniorServ was extremely pleased and grateful to the corporate sponsors who supported the event last year with both cash and in-kind donations. Corporate sponsors include: J. Goodman & Associates; Kaiser Permanente; Monarch HealthCare; OneCare, a program of CalOptima; Skilled Healthcare; Sysco LA; Tyson Foods; UPS and U.S. Foodservice.
